I find this a charming and informative cartoon about addiction and hope. If you see yourself or someone you love in the drawings, please find the appropriate support 12-step meeting closest to you (online or phone book).
Wonderful piece of education, discussion points for students galore – really excellent thank you. Rather thought provoking re caffeine, white flour & sugar … mmmm
thanks Kate – yes thought provoking stuff – some treatment centres in the UK address the issues of caffeine, white flour and sugar alongside smoking while in treatment for other substances addictions- I think sugar was my gateway drug as a child – couldn’t get enough candy!
